Monday 8th May

O.k maybe I won't post on here EVERY DAY.

All I have been doing all weekend is working my ass off to try and finish my coursework. I have three full days to go before I hand it in. I'm hoping to get it all sorted today.

Of course this is only possible If I don't get distracted - like I did last night by a distinctly average film (Final Destination 3). I'm up early as well, I woke up at like 7:23am, really strange for a student!!

What is in the news?

Local elections in the UK - the conservatives have managed to gain a few councils and in Scotland the SNP have taken the parliament away from Labour.

It also looks likely that labour will lose control of the Welsh Assembly.

In sport - not much is happening, just Steven Gerrard opening talks for a new contract at Liverpool.

In my opinion the biggest news should be relating to climate change - if we keep destroying our climate than there is no need for football or local elections in the UK. Recent work done in the Asia-Pacific region suggests something can be done.

May 4th 2007 - it's a Friday

Hello

I have decided it is a good idea to publish my thoughts online - day in day out for however long I can keep it going.

I'm 22, my name is Mark Fletcher and I'm from Nottingham, England. I am due to finish university on May 25th and start a graduate job on July 2nd.

It's 12:45pm and I'm relaxing - I have 7 days to complete a piece of coursework for university and another 11 to prepare for my final exams.

I have to work a night shift tonight - 10pm until 7am, it is normally pretty fun, gives me time to reflect on life.
